November 11 - Crowley Maritime Corporation has formalised two new standalone business segments - Global Ship Management and Government Services - which were previously embedded in other company units.
Crowley says that the new units will allow it to better serve customers in these contracting sectors. Leading the new business segments are Wendy MacDonald, vice president, global ship management, and Mike Golonka, vice president, government services.
Golonka, who previously served as vice president, ship management, will continue to report to Todd Busch, senior vice president and general manager, technical services. MacDonald is the former vice president of procurement at Crowley, and also reports to Busch.
The global ship management group, which includes Crowley Accord and Seattle-based subsidiary Maritime Management Services (MMS), provides technical services and crew management to a variety of conventional vessels, including general cargo and ro-ro ships; as well as to a number of specialised vessels.
