November 25 - Crowley Maritime Corporation has opened a government services office in downtown Norfolk in the US state of Virginia.
Crowley says that this new office will help it better serve government agencies, such as the Military Sealift Command (MSC) and the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD).
In addition the base will also be used to enhance the company's service of the Norfolk Naval Base and several of Crowley's ships that are located there, including three con-ro ships.
The office will house eight employees, all of which will report to Andrew Rabuse, Crowley's director of business development.
