February 3 - COSCO Shipping Co Ltd (Coscol) has officially become a provider of transport services for heavy lift cargoes for Shell, after successfully passing a QHSE assessment by the oil and gas giant.
At the Enterprise Framework Agreement (EFA) signing ceremony held at Guangzhou Ocean Plaza, deputy general manager of Coscol, Wu Liangming, and vice president of Shell in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, Robert Patterson, signed an agreement on behalf of both companies.
The agreement is a further demonstration of Coscol's intention to expand its footprint in global specialised shipping markets and grow its position in the transport of heavy lift cargoes, says the company.
