August 5 - Alexander Global Logistics has won a number of contracts, which will begin this month and are scheduled for completion by November.
Projects awarded to Alexander include the movement of 5,000 freight tonnes of cargo from Germany to Russia for a new air separation plant, and the shipment of 300 containers from India, Thailand and China to the USA for a new pipe plant.
Alexander has also been contracted to handle the transport of 1,000 freight tonnes of machinery, including over-dimensional cargo and 60 containers, as well as two heavy lift cargoes with the dimensions 12 m x 6 m x 6 m, from Germany to Canada.
This month will also see the company deliver a 67-tonne crawler crane from Holland to Georgia, in addition to 700 freight tonnes of pipes transported to Georgia from Belgium.
