April 29 - Combi Lift has been awarded a contract for the transportation of ship sections from yards in Hamburg, Rostock and Gdansk to the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Papenburg, where final assembly of the vessel will take place.
The ship sections, which weigh up to 1,000 tonnes each with the dimensions 40 m x 25 m x 25 m, will be transported on board Combi Lift's specialised vessel Papenburg, which features an integrated pontoon that can be floated out.
Combi Lift, which is part of the Harren & Partner Group, is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Germany.
