August 3 - Combi Lift has employed Pan Ocean's semi-submersible deck carrier Sun Rise to transport the 5,000-tonne accommodation barge, Swissco 48, from Singapore to Alaska.
The barge, which measured 70.15 m x 19.52 m, was floated onto the semi-submersible ship in Singapore and floated out on arrival in Alaska.
Combi Lift, which is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Germany, acts as commercial agent for Pan Ocean in northern Europe.
