November 26 - Universal Transport has transported an 18 m high Christmas tree from Thuringia to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.
Until now, Berlin's famous Christmas tree has always been delivered from abroad, so Universal Transport said this was a particularly significant project for the company.
The tree was transported by road using a semi low loader trailer and 6x2 tractor unit. The loading, transportation and construction of the tree took two days, with three Universal Transport employees working on the project.
It will take six people one week to decorate the tree on the Pariser Platz directly by the Brandenburg Gate. On November 29 the lights will be turned on.
