Chipolbrok named its latest newbuild vessel Yu An at a ceremony in China on December 27.
The 62,000 dwt multipurpose vessel is one of the largest of its kind in the world and has a 300-tonne lift capacity. It measures 199.9.m in length by 32.26 m wide and has a draught of 13.5 m when fully loaded. Yu An boasts five holds with total 75,000 cu m capacity.
The vessel is the fifth of its class handed over to Chipolbrok by Chengxi Shipyard. The first was delivered in December 2022, with the second joining the carrier earlier in 2023.
