April 3 - Shanghai headquartered Intermax Logistics Solutions - a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in China - has shipped 15 units of over-dimensional cargo from Deyang, via Chongqing, to Nantong.
The largest crate in the consignment measured 18.3 m x 2.45 m x 3.1 m and weighed 71 tonnes (64.4 tonnes). The smallest crate weighing 23.3 tons (21.1 tonnes) had dimensions of 8.34 m x 4 m x 2 m.
From the manufacturing plant in Deyang, the heavy cargoes were transported to Chongqing Naxi Gou port on heavy-duty low bed trailers - a distance of approximately 370 km.
The first batch of eight pieces was delivered to Chongqing wharf on March 28, where the Intermax barge Xinglong 908 was berthed. The heavy cargoes were safely loaded on board the barge deployed to Nantong, on the east coast of the People's Republic.
