March 26 - Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network member representing Belgium, Heavy Logistics, has delivered a delivery duty unpaid (DDU) shipment of sensitive CNC machinery from Europe to Shanghai, China.
The 50-tonne CNC machine measuring 8.4 m x 2.97 m x 3.6 m was shipped from Antwerp directly to the Shanghai jobsite.
Heavy Logistics cooperated with fellow CEE member - Shanghai based Inter-Max - to negotiate Customs clearance formalities; temporarily store the machinery and to deliver on-site installation services.
Heavy Logistics has also secured VCA Certification after assessment of its safety management systems. The award relates directly to the company's international transportation services, and the storage and assembly of cargoes.
