December 11 - CEA Projects has completed the delivery, positioning and installation of heavy equipment for a new plastic bottle manufacturing plant in the Hlaing Tharyar district of Yangon, Myanmar.
CEA Projects in Myanmar provided Customs clearance at the port, inland transportation and unloading services at the installation site.
CEA assembled a complete mezzanine floor and lifted it into position, while a control panel, vacuum pump, chilling system and other auxiliary equipment was also installed.
"A 12 m long heat exchanger unit was tandem lifted by two mobile cranes from its 40 ft container," said CEA marketing and communications manager Earl Brown. "The exchanger was then assembled and its legs attached before being positioned in place for commissioning outside of the facility."
Brown explained that after the auxiliary equipment was installed, the heavy extrusion and bottle blowing machinery was transported across the facility and positioned - an operation which required 12-tonne capacity skates and 30-tonne capacity toe jacks.
"Each of the 10-tonne pieces were then jacked down and levelled at their operational locations," continued Brown.
CEA Projects is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Thailand and Myanmar.
