April 5 - Cargotec, one of the world's leading providers of load handling equipment, is showing its range of products at Bauma 2010 to heavy lift and project cargo forwarder customers.
Vital to heavy lift shipping is the range of MacGregor products that are utilised in the maritime transportation and offshore industries, for the safe and reliable operation of cranes, hatch covers, ro-ro and cargo lashing equipment as well as bulk handling and offshore load handling systems.
Just last month, Cargotec received an order for a MacGregor 200 tonne subsea active heave-compensated knuckle-jib crane with a 2000 m wire capacity to a vessel from Toisa Ltd, operated by one of the leading offshore vessel operators, UK-based Sealion Shipping Ltd. The crane will be manufactured at Cargotec's site for Offshore Load Handling in Kristiansand, Norway. The crane will be delivered in the second half of 2010.
Bauma is being held on 19-25 April 2010 in Munich, Germany.
