June 16 - After a two-month delay, Cargolux Airlines International has launched scheduled services between Luxembourg and Zhengzhou.
HLPFI reported on April 25 that the all-cargo carrier had delayed the inauguration of the service because of unforeseen procedural changes regarding the way information needs to be submitted and approved by the relevant aviation authorities in China.
The inaugural flight from Luxembourg to Zhengzhou departed on June 14. Cargolux will initially operate the service twice weekly, before upgrading it to four times a week in July 2014. An additional two weekly services will be added from September this year.
