October 7 - Cargolux Italia and Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) signed a codeshare agreement for flights from Milan Malpensa Airport, Italy, to Kansai International Airport and Narita International Airport, Japan.
Cargolux said the agreement significantly boosts its presence in the Japanese market; it opens a new fast and reliable freight lane for shippers in the Tokyo area to Europe, while opening up a new destination in Japan for European shippers.
The deal is subject to approvals from the aviation authorities.
