December 22 - Despite winter conditions with ice and snow on the roads, Grupo Campayo of Spain has successfully completed two difficult shipments to help Madrid's AVE high speed train project.
The first transport involved a stabiliser, with the dimensions of 3.45 m x 3.10 m x 4.65 m and weighing more than 133.5 tonnes. The shipment consisted of a tractor head and a modular trailer which are required for the maintenance of the train.
The second transport was for a 77 tonnes piece of machinery with dimensions of 2.6 m x 2.6 m x 4.4 m which is also used for the maintenance of the train.
