September 3 - August was no holiday period for Ahlers Forwarding.
Ahlers China shipped 10 pressure flashing tanks totalling 13,643 m3 to a nickel mining project in Basamuk, Papua New Guinea. Four of the tanks were loaded in the Port of Zhangjiagang and six in the Port of Shanghai.
Ahlers Singapore has been equally successful recently, securing a transhipment cargo of steel pipes each 22 m long, with a total weight of 292 tonnes.
Ahlers secured the cargo, despite stiff competition from other local operators, due to very good relations with the carrier and Singapore's advantage as an important hub and its status as an ultra-efficient port.
