Buss Terminal Eemshaven in the Netherlands has extended its terminal area and heavy-duty quay.

Buss Terminal Eemshaven expands terminal and quay facilities

Approximately 15 ha of heavy-duty storage area alongside 200 m of quayside have been added, connecting to the Beatrixhaven heavy-duty quay. The storage area can handle up to 30 tonnes per sq m and directly connects to the terminal’s existing areas and quay in Julianahaven.

“This expansion will allow us to meet the increasing demands of our clients, particularly in the offshore wind sector, and to continue to provide flexible logistics solutions across a range of industries,” said Marc Wegman, managing director of Buss Terminal Eemshaven.

Buss Terminal Eemshaven boasts a combined total area of 460,000 sq m and provides capacity to customers with a range of logistical needs, including offshore, onshore, and breakbulk operations. The terminal has its own specialised equipment available too, such as reach stackers, heavy-duty cranes, and SPMTs.
