April 24 - The Norwegian Sea-Cargo Hub in Rotterdam has been officially opened by Broekman Logistics and Sea-Cargo.
The 50,000 sq m expansion of the Broekman Logistics terminal at Theemsweg in the port of Rotterdam was initiated at the start of 2015.
The alliance with Sea-Cargo means that Broekman Logistics now has a regular service to Norway with Sea-Cargo initially using the terminal twice a week in both directions.
The Sea-Cargo vessels will be loaded and unloaded via their bow door and this required the addition of a ro-ro ramp to the terminal.
