October 9 - BOW Terminal has signed a letter of intent to expand its logistics services for the offshore wind sector with the development of a logistics hub in Eemshaven, the Netherlands.
In cooperation with Groningen Seaports, BOW Terminal will develop 27 ha (66.7 acre) of land behind a 220 m deepsea quay, explained the company's managing director, Ludolf Reijntjes.
"These main specifications combined with the local maritime and logistical knowledge in the area must result in a modern hub for the offshore wind business, as well as all relevant connected activities to the offshore wind farm industry," adds Reijntjes.
