May 18 - Blue Water Shipping has completed the transport of the jack-up rig, Mercury EDC II, from the UAE's Hamriyah shipyard to the Caspian Sea.
The rig was divided into a number of modules before being shipped to the Caspian Sea via the Volga-Don river system. Blue Water claims that the cargo was the widest to ever be shipped through the Russian river system and its 18 locks.
