March 14 - Blue Water Shipping has acted as stevedores for Bilfinger Marine & Offshore Systems in connection with the installation of foundations for the Sandbank offshore wind farm in the North Sea.
72 monopiles and transition pieces have now been installed, and the installation equipment is in the process of being demobilised.
Blue Water will also handle the stevedoring operations for the large Menck hydraulic hammer, which will be returning from the project, and has chartered a vessel to transport the oversize hammer from Esbjerg to Lindo, where it will be stored.
