According to Sai Maritime, this was the heaviest single item handled by Mundra port to date and was also the heaviest floor-mounted single item exported from India by the manufacturer Thermax Ltd.
Technical planning for loading the boiler was undertaken in close co-ordination between the Thermax logistics team headed by Zubin Gagrat, Panprojects head of business development, Capt Zareer Colabavala, Sai Maritime's team headed by Rukhsana Vohra, a technical team headed by Ashok Vaid and the shipping line's own technical department - Luhe Engineering.
To save time, preparation of the ship's spreaders and lifting gear was done well in advance when the vessel was in Mumbai prior to calling at Mundra for loading
