January 18 - BBC Chartering has been awarded a strategic volume contract by TOYO Engineering Corporation (Japan), which will see the carrier deliver over 400,000 freight tonnes of project cargo for four major projects during 2016 and 2017.
"BBC Chartering and TOYO will be working together on a number of projects in the future," said BBC Chartering ceo Svend Andersen.
"TOYO's achievements are highly regarded by oil majors and chemical companies around the world, and we are extremely pleased that we can contribute with our flexible high performance transport services to support their growth."
TOYO is active in various industrial fields, including gas, LNG and DME, as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for oil refineries, petrochemical and general chemical plants.
