March 4 - The Damen-built catamaran, Liberdadi, has been transported from Jurong port in Singapore to Portugal's Mindelo port on board BBC Chartering's heavy lift vessel BBC Plata.
The passenger ferry, which had the dimensions 46.1 m x 12.3 m x 14.2 m and weighed 193 tonnes on its cradle, was loaded onto a barge and brought alongside the 12,700 dwt BBC Plata.
The catamaran, which is expected to be used for transportation purposes at Cabo Verde, was then loaded on board the heavy lift vessel in a tandem lift using the ship's two 120-tonne capacity cranes.
