July 22 - The Norwegian port of Stavanger played host to three of BBC Chartering's vessels - BBC Fuji, BBC Northsea and BBC Romania - in one day.
BBC Fuji delivered a 370-tonne reel to the offshore construction vessel Seven Pacific; BBC Northsea discharged pipes for the Norwegian Knarr field offshore development project; while BBC Romania underwent three surveys to prepare for future offshore assignments.
Elsewhere, the company's 14,800 dwt heavy lift vessel BBC Pearl carried four building units for an Angolan offshore project from Houston to Okpa, South Korea.
Two smaller structures, weighing 110 and 119 tonnes, were stowed in the vessel's hold, while the two larger units, which weighed 500 and 505 tonnes, were shipped on the deck of the vessel.
The lighter units could be moved using the vessel's own crane, but two floating crane barges were required for lifting the larger units onto the vessel's deck.
In Okpa, the modules will become part of larger platform structures destined for the second stage of the Mafumeira Sul project offshore Angola.
