December 3 - Barnhart Crane and Rigging, the Memphis-headquartered heavy lift and transportation organisation, has continued to develop its US network with the opening of four new branches: Charleston, South Carolina; Owensboro, Kentucky; Richland, Washin
The Charleston and Owensboro branches will focus on providing heavy transportation, rigging and lifting services to Barnhart nuclear and power customers in the region. The Charleston division is located at Marine Terminals and includes a ro-ro facility to accommodate project cargo ships, as well as having access to rail and interstate road networks.
The Richland branch will serve the US Department of Energy, Hanford site, in addition to other industrial facilities in the region.
The Syracuse location will enable Barnhart to better serve its renewable and nuclear energy customers located in upstate New York, says the company.
Furthermore, Barnhart is relocating its Portland, Ohio division to Seattle, Washington, in order to meet the demands of its growing markets in the Pacific Northwest.
