The crane is the latest to be included in the company’s rental fleet, which includes 14 Grove all-terrain cranes, working on various tasks including tower crane assembly, HVAC system installations, industrial and construction work and boat handling.

“We like to have versatile cranes in our fleet, and with the GMK5250XL-1 we get a compact crane, with a long boom, strong carrier, and great load charts. The operators love it because it has a really comfortable cab and is easy and intuitively set up. We can configure it in multiple set-ups and it’s perfect for a wide variety of projects,” said Andrea Baldini, co-owner of Baldini Group.

The 250-tonne capacity Grove GMK5250XL-1 has a 78.5 m main boom length and an outrigger footprint of just 7.8 m width. Baldini purchased the crane with an 18 m bi-fold swingaway jib that can be extended to 34 m with inserts for even greater reach.
