Turkey’s Atakaş Port Business has acquired a rail-mounted mobile harbour crane from Konecranes.
The crane will go to work at Iskenderun on Turkey’s southeastern coast in mid-2019.
The Model 7 crane for Atakaş is a four-rope G HSK 7528 B variant, capable of lifting up to 125 tonnes.
Vedat Ohri, general manager of Atakaş Port Business, said: “Our aim is to provide the greatest benefits to the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia regions.”
The new unit will join two mobile harbour cranes already in operation at the gateway.
