October 2 - Access Shipping & Logistics (ASL) has completed the latest transport of electricity transmission equipment for the Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (UETCL) project.
The cargo was discharged at Mombasa port in Kenya for delivery to UETCL at the Ugandan government storage facility in Mbale.
ASL were tasked with the equipment handling and storage, Customs clearance, documentation and road haulage from Mombasa to Mbale.
ASL are the ongoing sole logistics provider for Kalpataru Power Transmission as part of the UETCL project.
Access Shipping & Logistics has been a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Uganda since June 2014.
