March 11 - Between 2009 and today, Asia Imperial Cargo Logistics (AICL) has been undertaking the transportation of machinery and equipment from Shanghai, Tianjin and Huangpu in China to Punta Quilla in Argentina for a coal-fired power plant project locate
AICL, which is a Chinese member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE), says the fact that shippments for the project were sourced from many different areas of China meant that a company with a complete service network along the Chinese coast and abundant experience for project cargos was essential for the client.
To date, AICL has delivered around 40,000 tonnes of materials, with the heaviest item weighing 75 tonne and measuring some 12 m in length. The remaining shipments are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
CEE is a global network for cargo equipment owners such as haulers, crane operators, tug and barge operators, stevedores and export packers, port operators and air cargo handling equipment owners and supporting industry, serving the heavy and outsized cargo industry.
