October 16 -To emphasise the importance of Antwerp in world trade for the South China market too, the Belgian port is organising a road show that is currently visiting the southern Chinese ports of Shenzhen and Guangzhou from October 15 - 19, 2012.
Trade between Shenzhen and Antwerp has been growing rapidly in the past few years, and the two enterprises became sister ports in 2010.
Although situated many miles inland, the city of Guangzhou is none the less ranked as the eighth-largest container port in the world.
Trade between Antwerp and China has expanded rapidly in the past few years, with the country becoming Antwerp's fourth-largest trading partner.
