May 22 - JSC Shipyard Lotos has launched the 7,240-dwt dry cargo vessel Anatoly Sidenko, said the the vessel's designer Marine Engineering Bureau.
The vessel was built for shipping company Ankor LLC. Anatoly Sidenko is river-sea vessel designed from the transportation of general and bulk cargoes. The vessel measures 139.95 m long with and overall breadth of 16.70 m and a draft of 6 m. The Marine Engineering Bureau claims the vessel is the largest that can transit the size-restricted Volga Don River system.
The vessel also features of a large middle hold measuring 52 m long, which can be used to hold oversize and project cargoes.
JSC Shipyard Lotos operates two shipyards in Astrakhan region and specialises in the construction of modules of topsides for offshore platforms. The company repairs ships hulls, hull systems, and machinery and engages in shipbuilding and construction of block-modules of drilling platforms.
