July 12 - Altius has transported a rotor and stator to the Misicuni Hydroelectric Plant in Bolivia, for Indar Electric.
The rotor, which weighed 66 tons (59.8 tonnes) and had a volume of 88 cu m, and the stator, which weighed 77 tons (69.8 tonnes) and had a volume of 72 cu m, were shipped from Bilbao, Spain to the Port of Arica, Chile on board Carisbrooke Shipping's vessel, Nomadic Milde.
Altius Bolivia unloaded the cargo in Chile and transported the consignments to the project site in Cochabamba, using a six-axle lowbed trailer with a platform, and one four-axle lowbed trailer.
