April 21 - Almajdouie Logistics has coordinated the transport of three 450-tonne transformers and a 395-tonne generator from Saudi Arabia's Jeddah Port to the Jeddah South Power Plant.
A bridge over a canal with a 300-tonne load capacity proved challenging for Almajdouie due to the weight of the cargo, so the company was required to build another route over the water.
This involved installing steel plates and beams, which were subsequently removed once the transformers and generators had crossed the canal.
Having obtained the relevant permits for the road movement, Almajdouie delivered the cargo safely to the plant, which is located near the company's Khumra Terminal.
