October 29 - Alistair Group has safely transported a Caterpillar 6015 excavator more than 5,400 km from South Africa to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The unit was disassembled and loaded onto six trucks for transport, which transited from South Africa through Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania and Burundi before being offloaded in the eastern DRC. The project was executed on behalf of Namoya Corporation.
Alistair Group has also added 20 new Sinotruck 6×4 Howo tractors, manufactured in China, alongside 20 Henred Freuhauf 40 ft trailers, to its transport fleet.
