July 14 - In China, Ahlers, the international logistics service provider, has set up a new office in Xiamen, bringing its total number of offices in China to seven.
According to a company statement, project freight forwarding will be an important part of Ahlers Xiamen's activities, as well as agency services and international container and breakbulk cargo forwarding services.
A company spokesman said: "Our aim of setting up Xiamen is part of our strategy to get closer to the customer and to provide better and faster services in China."
