October 13 - Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) has coordinated the shipment of four large diesel engines from Antwerp to Shanghai, China.
AGL was responsible for the barging of the engines to the Belgian port of Antwerp, as well as the loading of the cargo onboard a heavy lift vessel and subsequent shipment to China. The company also coordinated the survey operations.
Two of the engines weighed in at 220 tonnes and measured 10.25 m x 5.2 m x 5.85 m each; while the two smaller units weighed 158.5 tonnes each and had the dimensions 10.5 m x 3.2 m x 5.25 m.
Alexander Global Logistics is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Germany, Russia and Mongolia.
