September 22 - Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) has coordinated the transport of a number of compressor units from Germany to the Russian Republic of Tartastan by road.
The sections, which weighed up to 47 tonnes and measured up to 4.6 m each, were transported approximately 4,100 km overland. The consignment included eight heavy lift and over-dimensional cargoes, which were delivered in convoy along with around 20 conventional trucks.
"AGL was responsible for the documentation, Customs clearance, surveys, loading and unloading of trucks as well as the trucking itself," said AGL director of projects Jürgen Weyhausen.
AGL is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Germany, Mongolia and Russia.
