November 14 - Science and technology magazine, Popular Science has named the Aeroscraft vertical airlift solution a 2013 recipient of the publication's Best of What's New award in the aerospace category.
Every year, the editors of Popular Science review thousands of new products in their search for the top 100 technology innovations of the year, which are then highlighted in the December 2013 issue.
Best of What's New awards are presented to 100 new products and technologies in 11 categories, which are considered breakthroughs that represent a significant advancement within their respective category.
The Aeroscraft, which has been designed to facilitate global point-to-point air cargo delivery services by incorporating innovative new technologies, offers new logistics solutions, expands the potential for commercial cargo transport and could be vital in large-scale humanitarian relief efforts, says its manufacturer, Aeros.
