April 30 - An agreement that combines the offices of two of the UAE's leading aviation service providers under one roof has been signed by Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) Group.
Customers will be offered a selection of wide-ranging products and services in a "one-stop shop" environment, enhancing the Group's presence in the UK and European markets.
The ADA Group, chaired by HH Sheikh Tanoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, includes Maximus Air Cargo, the UAE's largest dedicated cargo aircraft operator; Royal Jet, the international luxury executive flight services company chaired by HE Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak; and Abu Dhabi Aviation, the largest commercial helicopter and fixed wing aircraft operator in the Middle East.
The agreement was signed by Royal Jet and Maximus Air Cargo and allows Royal Jet to open offices at Maximus Air Cargo's existing facility at Stansted airport, London. Abu Dhabi Aviation will join the group in the near future.
The strategic agreement was signed between Fathi Hilal Buhazza, Maximus Air Cargo president and CEO and Shane O' Hare, Royal Jet president and CEO in the presence of Nader Ahmed Al Hammadi, managing director, Abu Dhabi Aviation and board member of Royal Jet.
Al Hammadi said: "The combination of Maximus Air Cargo and Royal Jet, as well as Abu Dhabi Aviation Company, which is expected to follow suit in the near future, allows us to offer our services more readily to the UK and European markets, while adding to all our existing offices in the Middle East and elsewhere."
