Aquitaine Blue Energies (ABE) and Port Atlantique La Rochelle have signed a partnership agreement in efforts to support the development of offshore wind power in the Novelle-Aquitaine region.
The partnership is primarily focused on the Aquitania Wind Energy Project, which is a response to the call for projects devoted to port infrastructure for floating offshore wind turbines recently proposed to the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) by four regional ports.
These are Port de Bayonne, Grand Port Maritime de Bordeaux, Port Charente Atlantique, and Grand Port Maritime de La Rochelle.
ABE also organised an event which involved several key players within the French wind energy sector.
