March 24 - AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has recorded a 15 percent year-on-year growth in airfreight volumes in February, transporting over 37,000 tonnes across its global route network.
The airline's freight tonnes kilometres (FTK) also rose 3 percent compared with the same month last year.
ABC recorded particular growth on its North America-Europe routes, while the airline also increased its shipment of flowers in the reporting period, attributable to Valentine's Day celebrations.
In February, ABC also launched twice-weekly B747 flights into Africa under an ACMI contract with CargoLogicAir (CLA).
