September 25 - AirBridgeCargo Airlines' (ABC) first ever flight to Switzerland has touched down in Basel, marking the start of the airline's new weekly service to and from the Swiss airport every Friday.
The Boeing 747-8 freighter flight, which was welcomed to EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg by a traditional water canon salute, will offer ABC customers in Switzerland onward connections to major cities in Asia, via the airline's Moscow hub.
Part of the Volga-Dnepr Group, ABC is represented in Basel by its general sales and service agent (GSSA), RTW Air Services.
