November 7 - AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) is commencing twice-weekly Boeing 747 freighter operations from Oslo to cater for Norway's oil and gas and seafood industries.
Offering cargo capacity of 100 tonnes per flight, ABC's new Tuesday and Friday services from Oslo will connect Norwegian exporters to the airline's network in North America and Asia Pacific via its Moscow hub.
ABC added that its nose-loading B747 freighters are especially well suited to transporting oversize oil and gas shipments.
The first flight from Oslo will take place on November 15.
HLPFI reported on October 28 that Cargolux was also beginning a weekly stop at Oslo on its flight from New York to Luxembourg.
