September 21 - AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has launched twice-weekly Boeing 747 freighter services from Moscow, Russia to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in the USA.
ABC's vice president for North and South America, Hendrik Falk, said that airline expects aerospace and machinery shipments to become a significant component of its new service to Seattle.
"For customers in Asia, we will also offer solutions for aerospace cargoes from China, Japan, Korea and Singapore with a prime service to this important gateway," added Robert van de Weg, ABC's senior vice president, marketing and sales.
The addition of Seattle marks the airline's sixth destination in North America.
