July 31 - Austral Asia Line is extending its North Asia to Pacific Northwest/Canada project cargo liner service to include the US West Coast.
The AAL Pacific Service will now include Long Beach, California as a regular port of call.
Austral Asia Line introduced the AAL Pacific Service 18 months ago and a company statement says the extension of the service confirms its commitment to the Asian and North American markets.
Three 31,000 dwt multipurpose heavy lift A-Class vessels, with a combined lifting capacity of 700 tonnes, will operate the route on a monthly frequency calling the ports of Nansha, Shanghai, Dalian, Tianjin, Busan, Kobe/Osaka, Yokohama, Long Beach, Everett, Vancouver (US) and Vancouver (CA).
