May 25 - Russian all cargo airline Sky Gates has expanded its fleet with a second Boeing 747-400F.
The aircraft, which is currently operated by Sky Gates' partner airline Silk Way West, is expected to be delivered by mid-June.
Nidjat Babayev, Sky Gates' senior vice president, explained the airlines plans to increase its fleet step-by-step. "After having received the second aircraft, the planning of the third B747-400F will start."
Sky Gates' European hub in Maastricht, the Netherlands serves Moscow and Novosibirsk, Russia, on a scheduled basis en route to and from the Far East.
