Van der Vlist has moved a 42-tonne articulated dump truck to Monthey in Switzerland.
The dump truck measured 11 m x 4.5 m x 4.2 m, which meant that the transport had to be accompanied by a Van der Vlist pilot car and police escort.
In a separate project, Van der Vlist delivered a Doosan DX800LC-7 to Finland. The machine was transported in parts; a multimodal route using a shortsea service was required for the 49-tonne base unit, while the counterweight, boom, arm and bucket were transported directly by road transport.
