Germany’s Universal Transport will rebrand its subsidiary in the Czech Republic, Nosreti Specialtransport, in 2019 to integrate the company into the Universal Transport Group.
From 2019, Nosreti will operate as Universal Transport. Universal Transport completed the takeover of the heavy transport company earlier this year, expanding its fleet in the Czech Republic by approximately 30 heavy-duty vehicles.
In addition to heavy-duty trucks, Nosreti’s fleet includes a 46 modular axles from Goldofer as well as a range of semi-trailers capable of handling the transport of cargoes weighing over 100 tonnes.
Recently, Nosreti handled the delivery of an overhead bridge crane, measuring 37 m x 5.6 m x 4.65 m, from Brno to a steel work factory in Ostrava.
The combination, which weighed 170 tons (145.6 tonnes) in total, consisted of a Mercedes Actros 8 x 4 heavy-duty prime mover, a lowbed trailer and Goldhofer modular axles.
