Total Movements has shipped over 12,000 freight tonnes of project cargo from Chennai in India to Mongla, Bangladesh.
The cargo was for the Rampal coal-fired power station, which is under construction in the country’s Bagerhat District.
The move took place at the end of March during nationwide lockdowns in India and Bangladesh, which Total Movements said caused disruptions at the ports. The company added that with the help of the ports and the carrier, the shipment was delivered according to the client’s requirements.
Total Movements is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India.
